Welcome to Cyberchat's
very own X-Men roleplay! We're glad to see you are interested in joining and taking part in our roleplay experience.
Just a few rules, guidelines,
and tips for you before you begin to roleplay with us.
RULES
1. No Apocolypse people can join this roleplay. It's a bit hard because of the fact of how powerful they actually are/were,
and we are just trying to make it easier on fellow roleplayers to have a fighting chance, as well as the roleplayers who are
interested in JUST storyline.
2. Obviously, as a mutant roleplay, we would like it if all characters entering the roleplay are mutants. As the roleplay
progresses, we might open this up and hopefully get some humans in, but for now we're trying to establish it all.
3. Make sure upon reading the rules and seeing which characters are available, you check in with either Rogue or James-Howlett,
the roleplay moderators. This is just to check for things such as high godlike powers and other things that might possibly
conflict with the roleplay itself.
4. The Moderators of this roleplay can ask if you would tweak your character just a bit, deny you from this roleplay,
or kick you out for misconduct. On the flipside, you have the right to inquire about any decision made, ask about the roleplay,
or any such things involving this roleplay. We all need to work together to have a good time.
GUIDELINES
Guidelines are just to make the roleplay
run smoother. We want to consider everyone in the roleplay, not just one or two people, and thus, we set down guidelines.
FIGHTING GUIDELINES
Some fighting etiquitte is just going
to be posted, so people who wish to fight can respect the users, the opponent, and themselves.
Just a reminder. In a fight, there are
three parties. There is your own party. You or the group you are fighting with. This is the side you probably don't want to
hurt. There is what we call 'civilians'. This is just a term for the people in a battle that don't really have the want to
fight, or someone that is being protected. Maybe even someone who has no idea it's going on. Say user A and user B are fighting.
If C is in the house, and B attacks the house, they can't expect C to be hurt. That brings the next point.
YOU CONTROL YOUR OWN CHARACTER. You do
not have right to control anything other than yourself, unless it's NPC like a robot or an assistant. You do not control your
entire surroundings. You do not control your opponent. If your opponent flees validly, don't go after them. They have the
right to flee. Respect your opponent, and they will respect you.
Not everyone is uber. We need to realize
this. Sure, there are some powerful mutants. They also have a weakness. And sometimes, it isn't physical. You just might have
to think outside the box.
TIPS
Roleplay with everyone! Just because you
as the player don't like someone elses player, doesn't mean you can't roleplay with them. Or just because they are new doesn't
mean not roleplay with them. Expand your experience and roleplay with all sorts of people.
Roleplay is meant to be fun. If you are
having fun, then the point of roleplay is being fufilled. Remember though, roleplay goes two ways. Make sure to respect your
fellow RPers experience and allow them the right to have fun.
Go with the storyline! We will make
sure it will be an interesting and fun story in which everyone can participate. If you are curious about a storyline, ask
someone. If there's a storyline involving fighting and you don't like to fight, work it out with the storyline creator.
Communication goes a long way in a roleplay.
If you just stop communicating, your chatacter slot will be given up. If you don't relate well with people, then chances are
you won't have such a great experience. Communicate with everyone!
And last, but not least...
HAVE FUN!
